The Mali Brae Farm is a beaut of a rustic wedding venue located in the Southern Highlands. The name just conjures up romantic images of dreamy vistas and green paddocks of pasture, lakes and trees. This setting provided the perfect country environment for Krista & Michael to celebrate their perfect wedding love story. What a day!
Krista & Michael didn't want the fuss of a big wedding production with orchestrated bridal preparation shots . It just wasn't what they are about. They opted for a 'first look' prior to the wedding ceremony. I'm so glad they chose me to capture the many moments of anticipation, love, joy and laughter. These two are just beautiful people inside and out. I can't say it any other way, but they are just perfect for each other.
Fairy-tails do exist, and it was evident in the lake side wedding ceremony setting, right in front of a beautiful and delicate weeping willow tree. Surrounded by an abundant of intimate shoot locations we managed to sneak in some shots of the couple and their fun bridal party after the formalities. The pine trees looked so much like Tuscany, I had to remind myself I was in the Southern Highlands!
The reception was the proverbial icing on the wedding cake. So much fun, laughter, tears and love. Michael's heartfelt speech had most in tears, including me. What a joy to photograph. How can I forget the dance floor antics! Just look at the photos. Everyone danced up a storm and cut some serious shapes!
