ICC Sydney is one of Australia's premier event venues, hosting everything from national medical conferences and philanthropy summits to awards nights and industry galas. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of photographing a wide range of events at the International Convention Centre Sydney and it remains one of my favourite venues to work in.

The Scale of ICC Sydney Event Photographer

ICC Sydney can shift from an intimate breakout session to a plenary hall holding thousands of delegates within the same event day. Lighting conditions change constantly and every room presents its own challenges. I assess each space quickly and adapt my approach to suit, whether that's a brightly lit conference room or a dramatic awards night stage. The goal is always the same: clean, consistent coverage from the opening session through to the final applause.

Awards nights at ICC Sydney are a highlight of the Sydney corporate calendar. The NAWIC Awards Night, ORIAS and other industry galas bring together hundreds of guests in an atmosphere that's equal parts celebration and recognition. My job is to capture the energy of the room, the reactions on stage and the genuine moments between people.
